It was a very cold icy day to paint outside, so mona came up with the idea of making a campfire in the Art Gallery, which then burnt a hole in the ground and kindled a fire, because metal naturally conducts heat. Her friend Inanna helped her extinguish the fire and then replace the floorboards, which she documented on film. Later, she decided to screw together the torn planks and transform the work accident into a work of art. Already a few months earlier, she spent lonely hours burning holes in cardboard. This is how the series „Loch.Wunde.Mahl“ was created.
